My Bio

Before joining SAP I studied computer science at the Technical University Chemnitz. During that time I got some first industry experience by working as a freelance in a project at microTool.

Right after university I joined SAP in 1999 as a software developer. Since then I have been working in various departments, such as SD, CRM and Netweaver. I am currently assigned to the Web Dynpro ABAP development team and responsible for implementing and maintaining renderer of ui elements outside the Standard and Pattern libraries, such as InteractiveForm, BIApplicationFrame, BusinessGraphics, etc. In addition I am currently responsible for the ACF (active component framework) integration in Web Dynpro and the SelectOptions component.

Before that I co-designed and co-implemented the renderers of various ui elements that are part of the Standard and Pattern libraries as well as the client implementation of the HTML- and SmartClient at the server, the framework beneath it (called UCF - unified client layer) and rendering part of the window framework.

I am not married, but I live together with my lovely girl friend, who is very forgiveable whenever I switch on the laptop at home. We will get married in July and have no kids so far.
