Windows Server 2012 is released for all SAP products based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or 7.1 and higher, except SAP CRM 2007, SAP SCM 2007, SAP Solution Manager 7.0, and SAP Developer Workplace 7.0. High Performance Kernel on Windows
SAP introduced a new optimization technology into the production process for SAP Kernels on Windows. The kernel is the core engine which powers the SAP NetWeaver technology platform and significantly speeds up the performance of the SAP application. With this new technology, you can expect performance gains of up to 20%. Applying Windows Service Packs
SAP does not release Windows Service Packs for the use with an SAP system but recommends you testing and implementing them as soon as possible. As SAP tests its software with the latest Windows Service Pack, SAP might ask you to apply it before a support request is investigated any further.
