This month, the Globalization Services Knowledge Management (GS KM) team made it possible to access country-specific documentation from one page on the SAP Help Portal:


The page is optimized so that it is easily retrieved from search engines like Google. In addition to pointing customers to the latest country-specific documentation for CRM, ERP, and SRM, the page also provides the following helpful features:


  • It guides customers to relevant spaces on Service Marketplace, such as the country pages and RKT materials.
  • It points customers to the SAP Globalization Services space on SCN.
  • It links to the standard documentation on the SAP Help Portal for CRM, ERP, and SRM, and to the documentation for Cloud products, namely Success Factors HCM Suite and SAP Business ByDesign, as well as to documentation for localized banking services solutions.
  • It provides a mailbox address so that customers can email their documentation feedback directly to the GS KM team.


This redesign is one result of several months of cooperation between GS KM, product owners, LPMs, developers, and customers. Part of the GS KM Reduce Waste, Improve Access (RWIA) project driven by Pam Tabbert and Ian Armstrong, the ultimate goal is to simplify the documentation experience of our customers by making country-specific documentation more relevant, more consumable, and more retrievable.
