Most Recent Reporting

If this flag is set, a most recent reporting is executed for all the characteristics of the InfoSet that bear master data. This affects the query results in the following cases:

  • A characteristic in the InfoSet that bears master data has been filled with data for a second time (a completed data load process) and the loaded data has not yet been activated (attribute hierarchy change run).
  • As a result of the data load process, more current data records are available for the characteristic that bears master data and these data records have been modified since the version that is presently active (see example).

Most recent reporting also considers these data records that are more current, but are not necessarily active.

Example:

A characteristic 'xyz' bears master data and contains the data record:

Field

objvers

changed

text

F1

A

123

This data record is changed during the data load process and a second data record is added:

Field

text

F1

456

F2

789

=> characteristic 'xyz' that bears master data now contains the
following entries:

Field

objvers

changed

text

F1

A

D

123

F1

M

I

456

F2

A

789

Reporting without most recent data records considers:

789

Reporting with most recent data records considers:
