Hierarchy Extractor for Bid Invitations |
0BBP_BIGURE_HIER |
Hierarchies |
To represent complex bid invitations during creation of bid invitations in Enterprise Buyer, hierarchies are used with header, item, and levels. These hierarchies are created during creation of the individual bid invitations and vary from bid invitation to bid invitation. The job of the extractor is to select hierarchies with texts and to make them available for the BW system. |
At the present time, a delta update for hierarchies is not provided in the standard system. Since we are dealing here with hierarchies for transaction data (bid invitations), the possibility of data update has been incorporated for 0BBP_BIGURE with SP04. Prior to SP04 you can only carry out a full update in the hierarchy ALL. From SP04, for a delta update in the BW system, you select the InfoPackage and then the hierarchies with the technical names NEW and CHANGE on the Hierarchy Selection tab. (See also Features of the Extractor, explained below.) The table bbp_bw_timestamp is used in Enterprise Buyer. This is delivered to the customer empty. A timestamp is entered in this table when an upload is started for the first time. A subsequent delta upload then only selects bid invitations that were created or changed since the timestamp (change date query). This table is not used for a full upload. The hierarchy is indicated as time dependent. However, in the BW system you can enter a selection date on the Update tab via the InfoPackage. This is particularly useful if you want to upload a large number of bid invitation hierarchies, or if you only want to upload bid invitations for a particular timeframe. In the case of a delta upload, the date fields on BW side (Update tab) are not considered. The execution of the extractor checker (RSA3) in the Enterprise Buyer system does not change the bbp_bw_timestamp table. |
If no data is selected during an upload (for example, no bid invitations have been created or changed since the last run) the exception Hierarchy_Tab_Not_found is triggered and an appropriate message is output in the BW monitor. The table bbp_bw_timestamp is not updated in this case and the delta upload can be repeated. Bid invitations that do not contain items or hierarchy levels are not transferred to BW. The same is true of bid invitation items where the field crmd_orderadm_h- NUMBER_INT (item number) is not filled. This extractor should always be executed AFTER extraction of the actual bid invitations, and not before. If you create an InfoPackage for this extractor on BW side, you need to note the following:If you load the hierarchy with the technical name NEW, you need to select the update method Insert Subtree. Furthermore, after loading, you need to rename the hierarchy as ALL. In this way, newly created bid invitations are loaded from Enterprise Buyer. If you load the hierarchy with the technical name CHANGE, you need to select the update method Update Subtree. Furthermore, after loading, you need to rename the hierarchy as ALL. In this way, documents that were already loaded but then changed again in Enterprise Buyer are loaded again. If you have loaded both the NEW hierarchy and the CHANGE hierarchy, this should mean that you have loaded all hierarchy data available in the source system. You have then performed a delta loading for hierarchies. If you need to repeat the full update with subsequent NEW and CHANGE runs, remember that you have to: |
Bids - Dynamic Attributes |
0SRM_QUOT_ATTR_1 |
Transaction data (movement data) |
The DataSource serves to update the bid data for the dynamic attributes and customer fields as well as price, quantity, and value of the bid item to the ODS object 0SR_QUODA (bid attributes). |
The delta method is AIMD: After images with deletion indicator using delta queue. |
|
Text Extractor for Dynamic Attributes of Bid |
0SRM_QUOT_ATTR_TEXT |
Texts (master data) |
This DataSource is used to extract the texts for the attributes of the bid 0SR_QUOATTR in BW. From SRM 3.0 there is an extended model for the dynamic attributes. In this model, the text extractor is no longer used. For compatibility reasons it is still available, though, to connect SRM systems older than 3.0. |

You can use it to calculate how often a bidder was invited and whether the bidder submitted a bid. This information is particularly useful for the selection of bidders for a bid invitation. |
The delta update occurs via the AIMD (After-Images with deletion indicator via delta queue) procedure entered in the DataSource. |
Bid Invitation - Single Documents |
0BBP_BID |
This ODS object contains information on header and item data from the bid invitation document area. In addition, information on the number of bids submitted for a bid invitation is updated from the bid. You can use this ODS object to carry out all detail evaluations of the bid invitation. In other words, you can find out how many items a bid invitation contains, how many invitations have been sent, and how many bids have already been received for a bid invitation. |
The delta update occurs via the AIMD (After-Images with deletion indicator via delta queue) procedure entered in the DataSource. |
Bids - Single Documents |
0BBP_QUO |
This ODS object contains information on header and item data of the bids for bid invitations. Quantities, prices, and requested delivery dates are saved, but customer fields are not. Only those prices that are entered are stored, and no detailed price information (scales, conditions) are considered. |
The delta update occurs via the AIMD (After-Images with deletion indicator via delta queue) procedure entered in the DataSource. |
