The Dependencies Analyzer tool provides a way to understand the relationship between objects in the BI landscape. Most objects in the repository have a dependency or are dependent on another object. For troubleshooting, it is useful to understand these dependencies. If the object that is being analyzed should have a corresponding FRS file, the tool will confirm if that file is accessible and exists in the FRS. This tool is based on the same dependency engine used by Promotion Management and Upgrade Management Tool.
Using the Dependencies Analyzer
- Click on Landscape Tools → Dependencies Analyzer
- Click on Start Analyzer and logon to the desired CMS system
- Browse and click on the object you want to analyze. The results will be calculated and displayed in the table
