Query the CMS DB of an older version ?
You can use a BI 4.2 SP3 system to query the CMS DB of BI 4.x systems (XI 3.x is not possible).
In the universe connection use the Authenication Mode 'Use specified username and password' and enter the System ID, User Name and Password of the system.
