Problem

System displays the error message Process could not be started or a similar message and log ID.

Solution

  1. Note down the log ID from the error message.
  2. Close the process startup UI and in the Process Repository: Overview screen, choose Related Links → Troubleshooting.
  3. In the Process Troubleshooting: Availability screen, choose Related Links → Log Viewer.
  4. Choose Show View → General → Default Trace (Java).
  5. Using the log ID, search for the appropriate log record and copy the traces.
  6. If you were able to find out the root component from the log description, create a CSN message on the appropriate component (either BC-BMT-BPM-SRV or BC-BMT-BPM-DSK) and attach the trace details.
  7. If you were not able to find out the root component, create a CSN message on the component BC-BMT-BPM-MON and attach the trace details.
