Fiddler is a http proxy tool that can be used to track traffic between the browser and server. It includes features such as syntax highlighting in traced HTML code, can be used for performance measurements, and has a scripting interface that can be used for automated tests. The one benefit of the tool is that it functions as HTTP proxy, allowing also the tracing of traffic from Java applets.
