Information Steward leverages core BI platform components to provide scheduling, user management, and security related capabilities to Information Steward Administrators. These capabilities are made available via Central Management Console (CMC). CMC is a web application designed for technical administrators and it is packaged as a part of core BI platform. Information Steward administrator can perform following types of operations via CMC
- Create and manage users and user permissions
- Configure connections, projects etc.
- Manage schedules for Data Insight tasks, Metadata Integrators, Score Card Utility etc.
- Monitor and Manage servers and services
- Configure application settings
