Limitations of Web Dynpro
Question: What are the limitations of Web Dynpro in Visual Composer?
Data services
Web Dynpro in Visual Composer only supports web services. BAPIs/RFCs are only supported in some special cases.
Using BAPIs/RFCs as Data services
Web Dynpro only supports web services, that's why you have to publish the BAPI/RFC as webservice.
