Transport

There are 2 different things you might want to transport: the model or the application.

Transporting a model

Question: How can I transport a model from one Portal to the next?

To transport the model, use the export and import functionality of VC

Transporting an application

Question: How can I transport a Visual Composer application?

  1. To transport the compiled and deployed iView, use the regular Portal transport mechanisms.
  2. Compile the VC model with "Deploy Model with PAR" checkbox in compiler tab checked
  3. Create a transport package and add all objects in the model folder
  4. Make sure that you have Read access to the "Applications" folder. System Admin -> Permissions.
