Overview
The error message FC444 is issued because of a wrong configuration in the payment terms.
Error message FC444
Creating Installment payament terms with monthly installments more than 31 months (999 days), the system issues the message error FC4 44 "A maximum of 31 additional months allowed (< 999 days)".
How to overcome the error FC4 444
Since this is standard system behavior, you can as a workaround solution, uses fields Fixed day and Additional months under Baseline date calculation (Transaction OBB8):
- Go to the BASELINE DATE CALCULATION tab and use the Fixed day and Additional months.
You may Increase the Additional months field under the BASELINE DATE CALCULATION tab and decrease the Additional months field under the PAYMENT TERMS tab as you can see in the picture below.
In addition, it is recommended that you update your system with note 1237757, if it is not implemented already in your current release and support package.
