Enhancement packages are an SAP technique to deliver more innovation, more quickly, in a more accessible way to organizations that have implemented or upgraded to SAP ERP 6.0. The packages enable rapid deployment of select new functionality in a way that minimizes disruption on core production systems. SAP intends to deliver enhancement packages several times per year and will include new functionality along with enterprise services. Customers will have the option of applying enhancement packages to their SAP ERP 6.0 environment.
SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0, released in December 2007, includes and provisions enterprise services for the following ES bundles:
