Service Request Processing is the recording and resolving of service requests that customers use to report problems with products.

This process component contains queries about a product that a customer sends to an original equipment manufacturer or a company offering services. Service requests are also used in customer services in case of malfunctions in installations and/or other exceptional situations.

The aim is to solve these problems as quickly as possible with minimum effort and maximum customer satisfaction. The resolution of the service request can be charged to the customer.
