Generally speaking, we should use words consistently throughout our products, which includes our extensions. Having multiple words for the same thing which we use interchangeably confuses our users and they aren't sure what are we referring to.
Names and objects
This is what we build. We build extensions for VS Code and SAP Business Application Studio. Although sometimes it feels too small to call our large applications "extensions", and we are tempted just to default to calling them apps or applications, the reality is that from VS Code Marketplace the users are installing – extensions.
Floorplan is a page type. Object Page is a floorplan. List Report is a floorplan. We are inheriting this from Fiori Design Guidelines, as Fiori calls these objects – floorplans. We should not call these a template, or page type, or a page.
