  • Setting up the Cache for WPC
Optimizing the performance of the system is always a crucial, but complex topic. • Creating Editor Components for Composite Web Form Elements
The purpose of this comprehensive guide is to reveal how you can create editor components for composite elements for your WPC Web forms. In other words, this is a guide for creating an entity of a couple of different editors and combining them in a single and easily maintainable Web form element. This of course results in an easier manipulation of Web forms in design time. Moreover, you avoid major inconveniences, such as separate manipulation of otherwise logically unified editors and wrong positioning of the different editors.
For the sake of clarity of this guide, the author explains the whole approach through an example of a "Question and Answer" element designed for an FAQ web form.

Extending the Web Page Composer

FAQ Web Form

Extend your list of available WPC Web forms with this new user-friendly FAQ Web form. Download and deploy this package to provide content authors with an easy way to create and manipulate FAQ documents. Main features of the FAQ web form are:
• Intuitive and user-friendly Question and Answer element
• WYSIWYG HTML editors for the answers
• Simplified questions editing
• Heading elements that can be used to create logical sections in the document
• (Optional) Possibility to place a "Back to top" link in every Q&A element of the Web form
• (Optional) "Table of contents" composed of hyperinks to the headings and all the questions in the document
• (Optional) "Title" of the document.
• Externalized and controlable style sheets for applying styling rules to the document and the elements on it
