Connection

Client [ Client ]

  • Description: The presetting of client for logon

  • Additional Information:  The client field will be already filled-in with this value at every start-up.

User Name [ UserName ]

  • Description: The presetting of user name for logon

  • Additional Information:  The user name field will be already filled-in with this text at every start-up.

Language [ Language ]

  • Description: The presetting of Language for logon

  • Additional Information:  The language field will be already filled-in at every start-up.

Use UTF8 [ UseUTF8 ]

  • Description: Use code page UTF8 for communication

  • Additional Information:  Communication and output is UTF8 or not.
  • SAP Note 1316470 - SAPConsole displays mixed UTF8 with Unicode backend

No Easy Access [ NoEasyAccess ]

  • Description: the easy access screen should not be shown

  • Additional Information:  Supresses the easy access menu
  • SAP Note 1330101 - Sapconsole suppress Easy Access Dialog

General

No Skip Message E [ bNoSkipMessageE ]

  • Description: No skip error messages which you can see on the status bar of SAP WinGUI

  • Additional Information:  If true the described messages will be displayed, if false they won't.

No Skip Message I [ bNoSkipMessageI ]

  • Description: No skip information messages

  • Additional Information:  If true the described messages will be displayed, if false they won't.

  • Description: No skip Append messages

  • Additional Information:  If true the described messages will be displayed, if false they won't.

  • Description: No skip succes messages which you can see on the status bar of SAP WinGUI

  • Description: No skip Warning messages

  • Additional Information:  If true the described messages will be displayed, if false they won't.

  • Description: No skip message screen

  • Additional Information:  If true skips exit messages, if false not.

  • Description: No skip notifications

  • Additional Information:  No additional information.

Console

Left Align Truncate [ LeftAlignTruncate ]

  • Description: All empty spaces are tuncated at left

  • Additional Information:  Strict left alignment. (Like before 640 P26)

Flush Input [ FlushInput ]

  • Description: Flushes the console input buffer

  • Additional Information:  Determines if incoming information should be hold on a temporary memory location or not before continuing to the next control for processing.

Show Processing Message [ ShowProcessingMessage ]

  • Description: Show Text "Processing…" until a new screen is gotten

  • Additional Information:  Switch off the intermediate "processing" dialog.

Press Any KeyLine [ PressAnyKeyLine ]

  • Description: The text for "Press any key…" output

  • Additional Information:  Change the displayed text instead of "Press any key".

Beeps Message E [ BeepsMessageE ]

  • Description: Acoustic signal for error messages

  • Additional Information:  Turns the described message alert sound on/off.

Beeps Message I [ BeepsMessageI ]

  • Description: Acoustic signal for information messages

  • Additional Information:  Turns the described message alert sound on/off.

Beeps Message A [ BeepsMessageA ]

  • Description: Acoustic signal for append messages

  • Additional Information:  Turns the described message alert sound on/off.

Beeps Message S [ BeepsMessageS ]

  • Description: Acoustic signal for succes messages

  • Additional Information:  Turns the described message alert sound on/off.

Beeps Message W [ BeepsMessageW ]

  • Description: Acoustic signal for warning messages

  • Additional Information:  Turns the described message alert sound on/off.

Beeps Message X [ BeepsMessageX ]

  • Description: Acoustic signal for X messages

  • Additional Information:  Turns the exit message alert sound on/off.

Set Cursor On Disable Edit [ SetCursorOnDisableEdit ]

  • Description: allowed it to put cursor on inactivated edit field

  • Additional Information:  Activates the cursor on disabled edit fields.

Table Up Down Key Navigate [ TableUpDownKeyNavigate ]

  • Description: Navigate on table control with up and down keys

  • Additional Information:  Up down arrows will navigate to previous/next row of the table.

Table Use Select Button [ TableUseSelectButton ]

  • Description: The select buttons shown on the table control

  • Additional Information:  Suppress the tables show the select buttons in table.
  • SAP Note 1453477 - Select button missing in Table

Left Align Translate [ LeftAlignTranslate ]

  • Description: Move the screen controls to the left side

  • Additional Information:  If all controls are moved with same length to left border or not.
  • SAP Note 1491874 - SAPConsole controls

Logon EditCtrl Offset [ LogonEditCtrlOffset ]

  • Description: Left position for input fields on logon screen

  • Additional Information:  Sets the position of the highlighted input field on the console.
  • SAP Note 1633502 - Logon screen, invisible input field on small display.

Copyright Screen [ CopyrightScreen ]

  • Description: The Copyigth Screen adapt for little screen

  • Additional Information:  Enables compact screen-sidplay.
  • SAP Note 1645981 - Copyright Screen adapted for a little screen

Auto Close [ AutoClose ]

  • Description: The Console will closed after disconnection with R/3

  • Additional Information:  After "Connection broken" SAPConsole is closed without wait for RETURN key.
  • SAP Note 1692006 - ENTER on CONNECTION BROKEN message

Console Connection Broken [ DisconnectionText ]

  • Description: This text will be show if connection is roken

  • Additional Information:  Customizable that will be show if connection is broken.
  • SAP Note 1692005 - The "Connection broken" in sapconsole cannot be customized.

Move Cursor [ MoveCursorOnAutoTab ]

  • Description: When Auto Tab is enabled, move cursor to next control

  • Additional Information:  When the "auto tab" flag is on the cursor will jump to the first character of the next control immediately after reaching the right boundary of the first control.
  • SAP Note 1989049 - SAPConsole: bad cursor position after update from version 620.

Read Char On Down Key [ ReadKeyOnDown ]

  • Description: True : Read Input Char on Key DownFalse : Read Input Char on Key Up

  • Additional Information:  If true the system will read the character when the key is pressed,If false the system will read the character when the key is released
  • SAP Note 2043717 - Special symbols can not be typed into the input field.

Text Wrapping [ TextWrapping ]

  • Description: Enable a text wrapping for any system screens

  • Additional Information:  Normally long text on specific screens (copyright, logoff, password change, message) are wrapped to the next line; with this setting you can prevent this and lines will displayed "as is" even if this goes beyond the right screen border definition.
  • SAP Note 2104352 - Option to disable text wrapping for large screens.

Console Background colour [ ConsoleBGAttribute ]

  • Description: Defaul background colour for the console

  • Additional Information:  Changes the console background color to the desired value.

Web Console

Please note that the login on Web SAP Console is no longer supported for SAP systems based on SAP Netweaver 7.01 and higher. SAP instead recommends to use ITSmobile, a technology based on ITS as it is supported on a long term. For further information please see SAP Note 1070064  - Comparison of Web SAP Console with SAP ITSmobile
