C_CABN - Authorization for characteristics management

The authorization object C_CABN may be used to restrict the following functions.
- Create characteristic
- Maintain characteristic
- Display characteristic

For historical reasons, the system checks activities '1', '2' and '3' as  well as the maintainable activities '01', '02' and '03'
during the authorization check, for example when CT04 is called. Even if the authorization check was successful, the
system still displays a log about a failed authorization in the trace.

C_CABN_GRP - Authorization Group in Characteristic master

The authorization group C_CABN_GRP in the characteristic master may be used to restrict access to certain
characteristics for users. If a user wants to edit, delete or display a characteristic, the authorization group specified
for the characteristic in the charactertistic maintenance must be entered in the user master record.

C_CACL_DSG - Interface Design

The authorization object controls the maintenance of the interface design for the characteristic value assignment
of the class system.

C_CLAS_NRM -  Load Standards Data

The authorization C_CLAS_NRM is checked in the menu point "Environment - Copy Standard" for the
following functions:
- Copy standard
- Copy standard characteristic data records
- Maintain material with standards data/Assign characteristics data to material

C_CLAS_UTI - Authorization for Class Utilities

This authorization C_CLAS_UTI is required to execute the functions
- Class list
- Object list
- Class hierarchy
- Classes without superior
under the menu point Environment -> Reporting.

C_CLA_PROF - Profile Maintenance/Assignment of Settings in Classification

The authorization C_CLA_PROF may be used for the maintenance and assignment of user profiles
that contain user settings for the class system.

C_CLMM - Mass Processing of Classifications

This authorization C_CLMM determines whether a user is allowed to call the function for the mass processing
of classifications. The authorization may be set for each class type.

C_KLAH_BKL - Authorization for Classification

The authorization C_KLAH_BKL controls if the user is allowed to assign objects to classes.
The authorization group may be used for classification to restrict the authorization to certain classes:
In class maintenance, an authorization group may be assigned for the classification of objects in one class.
If a user wants to maintain or display assignments for this class, the user master record of the user must contain the
authorization group that was specified for the classification of objects in this class. This is checked in all assignment
functions of objects withing the classification system, and in all functions in which objects are to be assigned to classes.

C_KLAH_BKP - Authorization for Class Maintenance

This controls the authorizations of a user to maintain a class. The check is performed as part of the class maintenance for
the functions:
- Create class
- Display class
- Change class
- Delete class
The authorization group may be used for class maintenance to restrict the authorization to certain classes:
In class maintenance, an authorization may be specified to edit or display a class. If a user wants to edit, delete or display
this class, the authorization group specified for the class in the class maintenance must be entered in the user master record.

C_KLAH_BSE - Authorization for Finding Objects

This check is performed for the following functions:
- Find objects in a class
- Creating an object list
The authorization group may be used for finding objects and to restrict the authorization to certain classes:
In class maintenance, an authorization group may be assigned for the selection of objects in one class. If a user wants to search
for objects in this class, the user master record for this user must contain the authorization group that was also specified in the class
for the selection.

C_TCLA_BKA - Authorization for Class Types

The authorization C_TCLA_BKA defines the access to classes using the class type.
The authorization is checked in all functions that use the classification system to classify objects or maintain classes.

C_TCLS_BER - Authorization for Org. Areas in Classification System

The authorization C_TCLS_BER uses the organizational areas to define the use of characteristics. As part of the classification,
the characteristic selection can be restricted using the organizational area. The authorization checks the organizational area against
the user master record. Characteristics that have an organizational area to which the user is not authorized, cannot be classified by
the user.  A check is also performed in the class maintenance. A user can assign only those organizational areas in a class for which
the user is authorized. Organizational areas are defined in a class type. It is therefore possible to restrict the authorizations to certain
class types for organizational areas. For all other areas, the user is not authorized to edit characteristics with organizational areas.

In the configuration environment, only the authorization object C_TCLS_BER is called. The authorization object C_TCLS_MNT is
only checked in the classification environment.

C_TCLS_MNT - Authorization for Characteristics of Org. Area

The authorization C_TCLS_MNT defines the ready for input status of characteristics using organizational areas. As part of the
classification, the characteristic selection can be restricted using the organizational area. The authorization checks whether a
user is allowed to maintain characteristics that are assigned to an organizational area as part of the characteristic value assignment.
Organizational areas are defined in a class type. It is therefore possible to restrict the authorizations to certain class types for
organizational areas. For all other areas, the user is not authorized to maintain characteristics with organizational areas.

During multiple classification, a characteristic may be used several times in different classes. In this case, the organizational
area must be maintained in a similar way in all of the classes in which the characteristic is used.

Maintenance of organizational areas

It is possible to use organizational areas to structure characteristics of a class according to organizational area.
These organizational areas are maintained in three steps:

1. The organizational area must be defined in Customizing of the classification system for a class type (Transaction O1CL):

2. The organizational areas of a class type for the classes  must be entered (Transaction CL02, 'Basis data' tab).

 3. The organizational areas that were entered for a class must be entered for the characteristics of a class.
  (Transaction CL02, 'Characteristics' tab)
