How to add a Format to a Drawing but no Format is found in SAP ECTR

In general

With SAP ECTR Interface to PTC Creo it is possible to add a format from SAP ECTR to a drawing which is opened in PTC Creo Parametric.

SAP PLM > Add Format

Symptom

SAP ECTR shows a dialog box when function "Add Format" can not find any Formats in SAP:

Solution

Ensure that the correct document type is customized in "<SAP ECTR INSTALLATION>\applications\pro\customize\config\default.txt":

plm.document.search.drawingFormatDocType.PRO=...

For example:

plm.document.search.drawingFormatDocType.PRO = PFR
