Note:
Due to technical conditions the import of CAD objects is only possible from SAP ECTR working directory!
For CAD objects which are not loaded from there the import is not possible!
SAP ECTR Interface to PTC Creo Parametric shows a corresponding dialog in this case:
Solution:
All CAD objects which should be imported to SAP ECTR has to be copied into the SAP ECTR working directory by the user at first.
SAP ECTR Interface to PTC Creo Parametric do not copy these CAD files into the SAP ECTR working directory.
After the user has copied all CAD objects into the SAP ECTR working directory the import can be started by clicking the button "Import".
Additional information:
SAP ECTR interface to PTC Creo Parametric links the CAD session to the SAP ECTR working directory and ensures that the user does not change the working directory.
Some PTC modules such as PTC Creo Mechanism Design, however, need to change the working directory temporarily.
Under Temporary directories directories can be specified to which PTC Creo Parametric is allowed to change temporarily.
Note: These temporay directories do not support the import function.
