To configure a link in the dashboard it requires the following customizing-settings:

1. SPRO > SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Portfolio Management > Global Customizing > Global Field Settings > Dashboard Settings > Define Fields for Dashboards

Scenario: WS
Dashboard Type: RIH  (Item)
Select "Dashboard Fields per Dashboard Type" and activate the parameter "Link" for the Field Name. The field should be marked to be a link.


2. SPRO > SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Portfolio Management > Global Customizing > Process and Service Settings > Navigation Settings > Set Up Launchpads

Here the field configuration should be maintained for the particular Role/Instance.
For example: Role "RPM_RIH"
Instance "Drilldown"
The Application Alias is defined with "PROJ_DESCRIPTION" in Detail of the Launchpad.


3. SPRO > SAP Portfolio and Project Management > Portfolio Management > Global Customizing > Process and Service Settings > Navigation Settings > Define Navigation Settings

Here the user needs to maintain the entry of the field which is configured to be a link.
For example:
Launchpad Role: RPM_RIH
Launchpad Instance: DRILLDOWN
Application Alias: PROJ_DESCRIPTION
