Regular System Maintenance is done every 2 weeks, in even calendar weeks (Western calendar, e.g. calendar week 02, 04, 06, etc.) on Thursday morning 1:00 to 2:00 EST (US Eastern Standard Time). The system can be down during this time, actual maintenance times can be shorter.

 

Release Upgrade is following the standard SAP process for "Continuous Delivery", means upgrades are delivered as approariate. No special annoucement are provided. Typically upgrdes are delivered as part of the Regular System Maintenance. Information about new release features

 

Irregular System Downtimes are expected as exceptions only and will will be announced by separate notice to all Followers of this community space upon occurance.

 

Update:

We are excited to inform you that SAP is harmonizing regular maintenance windows across SAP Cloud Services. As a result, we are able to provide higher system availability to our customers.

Beginning May 20, 2017 the standard regular maintenance window for SAP Cloud Services will be harmonized by region (Asia, Europe, Americas) and standardized on UTC time. The standard regular maintenance window time will be 4 hours. Some SAP Cloud Services have a shorter window, some even are offering Zero Downtime Maintenance, which means that these services will remain online while regular maintenance is being performed.
