The documentation for the SAP HANA Data Provider for Microsoft .NET refers to sample projects. The sample projects are located on the SAP Community Network.
These sample projects can be used with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or later versions. If you use a later version, then the Microsoft Visual Studio Upgrade Wizard may run to upgrade the project to match the version of Microsoft Visual Studio that you are using.
The projects are:
|Project name||Project description|
|DemoSetup||A project that allows you to create the tables, views, and stored procedures used by the other projects and the examples presented in the documentation.|
|TableViewer||A project that allows you to enter and execute SQL statements.|
|TableEditor||A project that allows you to edit and update columns in a database table.|
|SyncViewer||A project that demonstrates Microsoft Visual Studio integration and synchronizing controls. This project uses the Microsoft Visual Studio Server Explorer to set up a Data Connection, and then create and use a Data Source.|
Before attempting the other projects, begin with the DemoSetup project to create the tables, views, and stored procedures required by the other projects. These database objects are also used in examples throughout the Data Provider documentation.
The sample projects are attached below.
The contents of the ZIP file can be unzipped to any folder on your system. For example, if you unzip to %USERPROFILE%, then you will find the projects in the file directory tree \Users\your-user-id\Documents\SAP\Projects.
