there is actually the "How-To" Guides Area (Information for Administrators) where you can find those kind of information - a real "tips" area is currently not planned.
Additionally I encourage you to get engaged into the SCN Space for SAP Solution Manager. There are a lot of blogs and discussions going on about ITSM and ChaRM. Also you have the possibility to raise questions or start discussions on your own.
