Enabling Mentoring will allow your organization to create and administer mentoring programs, as well as taking advantage of future enhancements, including always-on mentoring programs that don't require invitations, Jam group integration, matching algorithm configuration, and more.

Before enabling Mentoring the following needs to be enabled in Upgrade Center or Provisioning > Company Settings:

  • CDP Full (Development Plan)
  • Generic Objects
  • Attachment Manager
  • Role-based Permission

Enabling Mentoring via Upgrade Center

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. Look for Mentoring

This tool is only accessible from Implementation Partners and Support

Ensuring Mentoring Objects are Loaded to the Instance

Since Mentoring is using Metadata Framework, ensuring that Objects are properly loaded to the instance is a must, otherwise Permissions and Mentoring Admin functions will not load in the instance. Please refer to the screenshot below for complete list of Mentoring Objects in Configure Object Definition.
