The POS interface enables you to use Distributed Data Processing in retail stores with store POS systems linked to the central SAP system.

Tasks Performed by the POS Interface:  

  •  Preparation of master data for the stores  
  •  Preparation of sales transactions for SAP R/3 applications  
  •  Complex SAP R/3 data structures trimmed for communication with less sophisticated store systems.
