How to check what is responsible for a lock table overflow?
The enqueue table overflow is logged in the file ENQHISOVR. As per note 746138 the file ENQHISOVR gives information about the username and the program responsible for the overflow. The file resides in the work folder of enqueue server (/usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/work).
Independent on the type of enqueue server (classical or standalone), it creates a file named ENQHISOVR in the instance work folder and logs table overflows there.
