Dear Focused Insights users,

This article explains how to use the End-User Experience Monitoring BI (EEM BI) data provider.

1. Objectives

The Data provider /STDF/DP_EEM_BI is used to monitor SAP End-User Experience.

2. Supported Renderers

The EEM BI data provider supports this following renderers :

  • Area Chart
  • Bar Chart
  • Line Column
  • Dual Line Chart
  • Dual Bar Chart
  • Dual Line Column
  • Line Chart
  • Stack Bar Chart
  • Stack Column Chart
  • Column Chart
  • Bar Chart
  • Table History Renderer
  • Trend Table Renderer
  • SLR Renderer
  • SLR Table Renderer

Here is an example of displayed data using the EEM BI data provider with the LINE_CHART renderer :

Query :

/STDF/DP_EEM_BI:COLOR=#0bea22|legend=vhcala4hsmci - UXMon Selfcheck Script - Call Public Ping|OCC_JUMP_IN=|SLA=|TREND=|G2Y=|Y2R=|COLOR_RATING=|DISPLAY_ATTRIBUTES=|visible=true|agent=vhcala4hsmci|script=UXMon Selfcheck Script|step=Call Public Ping|hour=|weekday=|display_value=false

3. Tabs description

The EEM BI data provider has two tabs : Agent/Script/Metric and Hour/Weekday.

AttributesDescription
AgentList of available Agents
ScriptList of available Scripts
MetricList of available Metrics
HourList of business hours
WeekdayList of business days

4. Validation

We will compare the results displayed in the OCC Dashboard with the source 0SMD_MEEM INFO PROVIDER

Quey :

/STDF/DP_EEM_BI:COLOR=#0bea22|legend=vhcala4hsmci - UXMon Selfcheck Script - Call Public Ping|OCC_JUMP_IN=|SLA=|TREND=|G2Y=|Y2R=|COLOR_RATING=|DISPLAY_ATTRIBUTES=|visible=true|agent=vhcala4hsmci|script=UXMon Selfcheck Script|step=Call Public Ping|hour=|weekday=|display_value=false

So, in the call list viewer for  info providers , we have selected the following list of filters (the same as the ones we have put in the OCC gadget configuration)

The returned result is :

We should select the last row in list output and we can check the displayed result through this formula sum of measured values / number of measured values, so it is equal to 61 / 6 =10.166666 = 10.17
