Goal

DevOps dashboards give real-time insight based on a set of standard indicators for Velocity, Reliability, Efficiency and Quality.

  • Velocity: Accelerate application delivery with automation and removal of manual tasks.
  • Quality: Build quality into the software earlier in the development process.
  • Reliability: Deliver application without disruption for performance, availability and data consistency.
  • Efficiency: Decrease time to market and accelerate incidents resolutions.

 

Dev Ops for SAP landscape is based on 3 components:

  1. An agile development methodology and the corresponding tools for project management integrating planning of Business and IT requirements
  2. A monitoring suite covering SAP application landscape, business interfaces, business processes and IT infrastructure.
  3. An automated change and transports control workflow to integrate all development activities until the final release. This component is enriched with a set of tools and components to automate the change impact analysis, the unit tests, the performances and non-regression testing, the cloning of SAP environment, the system refresh with current data, the code inspection and the analysis checks for security and performance.
