thank you for this forum. I would like to have a clarification about the Step 3. You wrote "When performing the SPAU adjustment, ensure to set the adjustment to "original" for SAP content activation objects (reset to original)". Do I have to select as well the option "reset to original" for all the other object that will apear in SPAU? What about SPDD? Do I have to select as well the option "reset to original" to all the objects?
Hi G.I / Benjamin - I have the same Q. what did you end up doing ?
What about SPDD? Do I have to select as well the option "reset to original" to all the objects?
all objects related to content activation need to be set to "original" in SPAU and SPDD. These objects can be identified by name containing "SMMIG", they are located in package AI_GP1 (this can be used as a filter in both SPAU and SPDD).
I will update this wiki page with this information.
That was nice blog on overview of content activation.
QQ: Regards to transporting composite note changes to Production, can we make use of TR to transport the deployments from composite notes or should we deploy composite notes individually in each system.
while Implementing collective note for SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SAP Note 2403108; changes from note 2403108 got copied to same TR as 2324520 and we have report execution between those 2 notes. System did not populate any po-up on TR selection when deploying snote 2403108.
So can this situation be handled, if we need to move changes by TR to prod instead of individual deployment.
