1. Install Diagnostics Agent

For the installation strategy for Diagnostics Agents refer to SAP note 1365123.

For information on the Diagnostics Agent installer versions refer to SAP note 1833501.

Current Diagnostics Agent installers automatically install SAP Host Agent. Make sure that SAP Host Agent corresponds to the version in the SAP note 1448655.  Consult additionally the SAP Note 1031096 “Installing Package SAPHOSTAGENT” for more details.

2. Install CA Wily Introscope agent

Make sure CA Wily Introscope agent is installed on the SAP Convergent Charging system. SAP Convergent Charging supports an automatic setup and configuration of CA Wily Introscope agent during the product installation. To manually install and configure CA Wily Introscope agent follow the SAP note 1453216.

3. Register SAP Convergent Charging system in SLD

SAP Solution Manager 7.1 relies on the landscape information in the Solution Landscape Directory (SLD) and in its landscape management database (LMDB). SAP Convergent Charging provides an automatic registration procedure to the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD). The SAP CC 3.0 Core Server can be configured to send the landscape information to the SLD. Please consult SAP Convergent Charging 3.0 documentation for more details on how to connect and register the SAP CC 3.0 Core Server to the SLD. > SAP Business Suite Applications > SAP Convergent Charging > SAP CC 3.0 > Install > Configuration > SAP CC 3.0 Configuration Guide

4. Register SAP Convergent Charging system in SAP Solution Manager

The SAP Solution Manager will automatically import the SAP CC 3.0 system from the SLD into the LMDB. However, due to issues with the SLD Data Supplier in SAP CC 3.0, it is necessary to review resp. correct the SAP CC system data in the SAP Solution Manager. With the Technical System Editor, you can manually create, change, and delete technical systems in the LMDB.

To update the SAP CC 3.0 system in the SAP Solution Manager:

Open Software > Product Instances (Details) and make sure the product version SAP CONVERGENT CHARGING 3.0 is provided and the software component versions SAP CONVERGENT CHARGING 4.4 are installed on the system instances.

If no software component versions are available yet, manually assign the software component version SAP CONVERGENT CHARGING 4.4. Make also sure the software component versions are set as “Installed”

Set the Product as Diagnostics Relevant

Mark the SAP CONVERGENT CHARGING 3.0 product as the Diagnostics Relevant
