Purpose

The objective of this page is to explain the behavior of service confirmations with quantity zero in SRM system. The main idea is to clarify how the system works and also the reason behind this behavior.

Overview

In short the document will present the system’s behavior and a few related notes, as well as some clarification regarding this behavior and the messages from confirmation screen.

How and why?

In SRM system it is possible to create confirmation with zero quantity for material or limit items. However this is not possible for service items. The system doesn’t allow this procedure because ECC is not prepared to do this. Please check MM note.

Due to translation and text size issues it is not possible to add a text explaining about this exception for service items. The message would be too big
