Symptoms

You saw error "CIM_ERR_FAILED: User credentials are invalid or user is denied " in defaultTrace file

Solution

  • Then make sure that the user and password in the propertysheet are correctly given.
  • If the password of SLD_ADMIN has been changed since last installtion, please retype the new one and save it.
  • You can test it to login SLD to verify if the SLD_ADMIN/password is given correctly.
  • Login to http://server.domain:port/sld
