Solution

  • Check if the Mobile server connection settings details are correct such as Mobile server name, port number, CMS name, and Authentication type.
  • Check if the mobile servers are properly configured. See the SAP BusinessObjects Installation and Deployment guide for details.
  • Check if the Mobile servers (VAS and VMS) are up and running. Note that you start the mobile servers in the correct order. You must always start the authentication server (VAS) first, because the processing server (VMS) needs to be registered on the VAS in order to run.
  • Check if you have opened the ports of the firewall required for the particular connection.
