Licenses for Customer Management


S4/HANA Utilities for Customer Management provides two licenses, deliver with release S/4HANA 1809 .  The Basic CIC Edition provides a limited set of functions and screens. The Enterprise Edition enables the user to access all customer management functions in S/4HANA Utilities. Here see the sap documentation as well.

Enable Enterprise Edition

Initially, the system is delivered in the Basic CIC Edition and can be set to the Enterprise Edition using the feature activation. If you have licensed the Enterprise Edition of S4/HANA Utilities for Customer Management,
you also need to activate the feature IU_CMS4_ENTERPRISE_EDITION. Here ensure that the notes 2749108 (first) and 2794644 (second) are implemented. Over the transaction CRM_ISU_FEATURE activate the feature "IU_CMS4_ENTERPRISE_EDITION". Here ensure that in transaction SICF under /default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ if service FDT_WD_WORKBENCH is active.

Business Functions

Release S4HANA ON PREMISE 1909 S4CRM 204

In release 1909 the Customer Engagement (S4CRM) is included, no Add-On anymore and no business functions CRM_UT* need to be activated.
