Introduction

Like in 2013, 2014 and 2015 also this year an SAP Inside Track will take place here in Munich.

The main conference will be on Saturday, 8th of October 2016 - we also plan a SAP CodeJam on Friday, 7 th of October 2016 as well.

This is a great opportunity to spend the weekend in this great city, and like at other SAP Inside Track events, you can connect with your peers, learn from each each other, share experiences and be inspired by great talks.

By the way, we change the classic lecture oriented format a bit this year – be surprised.

The conference language will be Bavarian – just kidding . We hope to attract also an international audience and choose English.

If you're interested in last year's SAP Inside Track in Munich you can find it here: SAP Inside Track Munich 2013 - a summary and  SAP Inside Track Munich 2014 - a summary and SAP Inside Track Munich 2015

Session schedule

Sessions

The sessions are what an SAP Inside Track event is all about. Come and take the stage or our new marketplace and share your experiences, knowledge and passion. Talk about something that interests you, something you have done recently, your SAP TechEd experiences and ignite a two-way discussion that benefits all participants.

Please enter your session proposals below, and nearer the time, we will organise them into appropriate time slots.

This year we’ll have a classic lecture part (like the last three years). So if you want to do a lecture for about 30 minutes then the table below is best for you:

Did we test our changes? Test Gap Analysis with Teamscale (live)

You'll hardly ever be able to test all your code, especially after changes in an existing code base. Thus you have to focus your tests on the important things. After a change in an existing application it's wise to test this change - but how to ensure that the changed code was executed? That's were Test Gap Analysis comes in: It identifies untested changes. Test Gap Analysis is now fully integrated in Teamscale. In a live demo, we’ll show how this analysis helps you detect changed but untested ABAP code. Test Gap Analysis works even for BW routines.

A nice way to write testable JavaScript codeSharing experience from last project - how to write testable JavaScript code and create tests with low effort. It is not about TDD, it is about effective code writing and rules which help to create tests providing good coverage. At the end I will share some code with you which can be used by you in your projects as open sourced content. Of course, after the session I would be happy to discuss the pro and cons. This way of coding (and the session) is inspired by sessions on functional programming from diverse SITs of 2015.Software Testing
