The SAP UA Entrepreneurship boot camp is the perfect place for first-time entrepreneurs with a business idea to take it to the next level. You will gain the knowledge to imagine, create, and assess opportunities. You also learn to develop resources for an organization by forming teams and seeking funding. The SAP UA Entrepreneurship boot camp is a deep dive, hands-on, intensive 3-day program designed to demonstrate the benefits of the lean startup approach, as well as provide the entrepreneurs with the tools they need to create new opportunities. A side from the startup focus coaching, the entrepreneurs will be entitled access to state of the art technologies to boost their venture. Qualified entrepreneurs startups can apply to participate in the SAP Startup Focus program, and if accepted, top startups may have the opportunity to connect with SAP Ventures and other venture capital firms partnering with the Startup Focus Program.
This special event offers you and your teammates the opportunity to take your idea to the next level as well as have an exclusive opportunity to visit the University of Mannheim Startup Homecoming Event.

  •  We are accepting teams and startups with ideas different from theme. The Theme is mostly focused on participants starting from scratch!

Target Audience

  • University students in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or related programs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated and willing to take things to the next level
  • Two Types of Applicants
    • Teams: A group of students (min 4) can come as a group with their own idea. The idea can be different from the theme but needs approval (making sure it's SFW)
    • Free Agents: Other students can join as well, they will be offered some challenges, teams will be built  depending on their choices


  • Top Startups will be invited to different Major SAP conferences (
  • Great Ideas can be supported for further work, by mentor and introduced to the University Alliances Entrepreneurship program
  • Great chance of networking in a business environment

SAP will provide support to teams in development, but only for SAP technology.
