Description

While executing a template for configuring KMC or PCD, an exception “provider not registered” occurs.

Reason

The CTC engine registers the providers (adapters) specific to storage areas, when it starts.

For the CTC to register the providers, the actual provider (PCD or KMC), which is an mbean, must also be started. If these providers are not started the registration fails with an exception.

Solution

1. Cross check whether SCA LM-PORTAL is deployed.

2. Check whether sda's tc~lm~ctc~cpa~pcd_sda and tc~lm~ctc~cpa~kmc_sda are started.

3. If not, start/deploy them.

4. Re-deploy LM-TOOLS.

5. Execute the template again.
