Authorizations and Roles for ODP Incidents (BW and SLT scenarios)

Purpose

The purpose of this page is to clarify, which authorization objects, roles and transactions are needed for Product Support in case of analysing an Incident on customer's system

Overview

ODP Source System: Required authorization objects

Please provide the SAP user authorization to all objects, which are mentioned on the following SAP Help page 'Authorization for Operational Data Provisioning': Authorizations for Operational Data Provisioning

Debugging:

• The user should have full debug authorization, since in some cases debugging might be needed. 

SAP BW: Required authorization objects

SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse:

Please provide the SAP user authorization to all objects, which are mentioned on the following SAP Help page: Overview about Authorization Objects

The relevant objects can be found in the following sections:

• Authorization Objects for Working in the Data Warehousing Workbench (Object Class RS)
• Authorization Objects for the Administration of Analysis Authorizations,

Debugging:

• The user should have full debug authorization, since in some cases debugging might be needed.  

SLT/ODP: Required authorization objects

Search and Operational Analytics:  Authorizations for Operational Data Provisioning

ODP/SLT Source System:

SLT-user requires the profiles SAP_IUUC_REPL_ADMIN and SAP_IUUC_REPL_ADMIN_BW_ODQ. Both can be found in online document:

If the user does not have this authorization, the effect might be Timeouts during ODP
