The Offline Screen Recorder allows you to record a particular workflow and save that recording as a capture file (.cap).  The recording can be sent into SAP Support or attached to an incident and then viewed by the support engineer, developer, consultant, etc.  To access the Offline Screen Record, click on Screen Recorder on the left navigation menu.

Creating a screen recording

  1. Configure the Recording Folder to specify where to store the screen recordings.

  2. To start a recording, click on Begin Recording and complete the workflow you want to record.

  3. Once you have completed the workflow, click on Stop Recording.

  4. You will find the capture file in the location specified in step 1.


Play a recording

  1. Click on Play Recording

  2.  Browse to the location of the .cap file you want to play, select it then click Open
