Required Software versions:

  • SAP S/4HANA 1709 Feature Package 01 or higher
  • SAP ECTR for S/4HANA 1.0 Support Package 12 or higher
  • SAP ECTR for S/4HANA 1.1, initial release

Since SAP S/4HANA 1709 Feature Package Stack 01 you can again use Access Control Management, known from PLM WebUI (SAP ERP EHP4+). See Innovation Discovery Portal.


For administrators:

You need to enable the ACM in your S/4HANA first before using it in SAP ECTR. Please follow the instructions in the online help.

Once it is enabled in S/4HANA, you can also turn it on with SAP ECTR for S/4HANA.

Please add the following preference variable to <ectr>\customize\config\default.txt

customize\config\default.txt
sap.plm.acm.active.s4ectr100 = true (only required for 5.1 on top of ABAP Backend S4ECTR100)
sap.plm.acm.active = true (maybe also defined in addons\ectrwui\customize\config)

Please make sure, that you switched on ACM in your DMS customizing in transaction DC10:
